Plogg Firmware

From time to time we offer updated firmware to offer enhanced functionality.
There is no requirement to update existing Ploggs unless you specifically need one or more of the enhancements.

 

Updating Plogg Firmware

For OEM Customers

A Teridian flash programmer is needed. Additionally, it is vital that the Plogg is powered by an independant power supply ie a safety isolating transformer or 3.3VDC regulated power suppy.

Please contact us if you require the firmware file.

For All Other Customers

Please return your Ploggs to us and we will reprogram them for you for a nominal fee plus the cost of returning them to you.

  • Up to 5 Ploggs - £25 GBP
  • Further additional Ploggs - £2.50 GBP Per Plogg

If you would like to take advantage of our reprogramming service, please contat us using the contact form on the site. Please be sure to tell us how many Ploggs you want reprogramming and the country you will be sending the Ploggs from. We can then prepare a quotation that includes the cost of returning the Ploggs to you.

Forthcomimg Over-the-Air Bootloader

We are currently evaluating an over-the-air bootlaoder for the Terdian code based upon the Plogg.ZGB version with theETRX2 radio module

A full description of the problem, with details of the operating environment, PC or PDA platform and the type of network connection would be most helpful.

If reaching us by phone then you should be at your computer, PDA or other nework terminal, have your documentation at hand and be prepared to provide a description of:

  • plogg version
  • environment (hardware, OS etc.)
  • messages, prompts on the screen
  • actual problem

Most plogg software and firmware updates are downloadable as password-protected WinZip archives. To install one, please

  • obtain password, if required
  • download archive file and unzip
  • runSetup, follow on-screen instructions
